As anticipated yesterday, we had scones with lemon curd for tea today. They turned out a bit flat, maybe I rolled them too thinly, I will try better with the other half of the batch. But they were still delicious, my contribution for today’s sonntagssüß. Here’s the recipe:
Scones
500 g flour, 1 teasp. baking powder, 1/2 teasp. salt, 125 g soft butter, 200 ml milk
Mix all ingredients, roll out dough ~ 1 cm and cut out with cookie-cutter or glass. Bake for appr. 15 mins. at 160°C
Wie gestern vermutet hatten wir heute Scones mit Lemon Curd zum Tee. Sie sind ein bisschen flach geraten, vielleicht habe ich sie zu dünn ausgerollt. Bei der nächsten Hälfte des Teiges werde ich’s besser versuchen. Aber sie waren dennoch sehr lecker, mein Beitrag zum heutigen sonntagssüß. Hier das Rezept:
Scones
500 gr Mehl, 1 Teel. Backpulver, 1/2 Teel. Salz, 125 gr weiche Butter, 200 ml Milch
Alle Zutaten mischen, den Teig ca. 1 cm dick ausrollen und mit Keksstecher oder Glas ausstechen. Ca. 15 Min. bei 160°C backen.
