Der heutige Tag stand wie angekündigt ganz im Zeichen des Nähens. Der workshop heute Vormittag hat ganz viel Spaß gemacht und ich habe vieles dazu gelernt: jetzt kann ich minifutzikleine Stoffstückchen noch sinnvoll (?!) verwenden, wenn ich sie auf Papier nähe. Die Häuser und Bäume sind schon so entstanden, wenn ich das Ganze in Heimarbeit noch fertig kriege, zeige ich auch das Resultat. Nachmittags war ich dann auf dem Holländischen Stoffmarkt, die Fülle ist beeindruckend, aber man muss schon sehen, dass man nicht geneppt wird. Unten seht ihr meine Beute. Meine Männer waren während dessen im Stadtpark Minigolf spielen, nachdem sie mich vom Stoffmarkt eingesammelt hatten, sind wir nochmal dorthin, um in der ‘Strandbar’ den Abend einzuläuten.
Today is all about sewing, the workshop this morning was fun and I’ve learned a lot: now I can usefully (?!) use up the smallest bits and pieces by sewing them onto paper. The houses and trees were made this way, I’ll show the finished result later. In the afternoon I was at the Dutch Clothmarket, the variety is impressing, you can see my pillage in the pics. Meanwhile my ‘men’ were playing minigolf, after collecting me from the market we went to the parks’ beachbar to welcome the evening.
Das ist wie Geburtstag haben, so zwischendurch… . Jetzt werde ich wieder nicht zur Ruhe kommen, denn der rote Shiboristoff ist für eine Käuferanfrage und welche Stoffe ich für die Tunika verwenden werde, bedarf reiflicher Überlegung… und was ich mit dem Swallows-stoff machen werde, weiß ich noch so überhaupt nicht, aber ist er nicht schön? Ein Schätzchen! 
The postman just arrived and brought a parcel by my favourite mail-order fabricshop. It’s like having birthday in between… Now I won’t find rest again, because the red shibori is for a custum-order, the tunic pattern requires long and thorough thoughts on which fabric to use and I don’t have the slightest idea, what to do with the swallows, but isn’t it a real beauty?
