I’ve made lots of book- and folder-covers and also many mobile-cozies before but after I bought the book appliqué your way by Kayte Terry I was immediately tempted to do new ones, it’s such a great source of inspiration (though I’ll never dream of making a dog-sweater). Of course a fresh iPod touch helped trigger the cover-craze, it has to be safe and warm this winter… (But I do book-covers in another way, a how-to is soon to follow (aah, a tutorial!)) So I bought some paper-backed fusible webbing and searched my scrap-pile and this is the outcome, compare original and (my) fake:
Ich habe schon viele Buch- und Ordnerumschläge gemacht und auch schon viele Handytaschen, aber nachdem ich appliqué your way von Kayte Terry gekauft habe war ich sofort verleitet Neue zu nähen, es ist eine super Inspirationsquelle (auch wenn ich niemals auch nur ansatzweise einen Hundepulli machen würde). Natürlich hat auch der frische iPod touch den Hüllen-Hunger mit ausgelöst, der muss ja warm und trocken sein diesen Winter… Also kaufte ich noch Vliesofix und durchsuchte meinen Restehaufen, dabei kam dies heraus, vergleicht Original und (meine) Fälschung. Wobei ich die Buchumschläge auf eine andere Art nähe, aus der Anleitung wurde ich nicht ganz schlau, meine Anleitung folgt bald (aah, ein Tutorial!).
